The beauty of charm bracelets comes from the personal connection the owner has with each addition to it. Charms are added as loving reminders of positive memories. Birthdays. Vacations. Hobbies.

Charm bracelets frequently ignore the negative memories or feelings of the owner. In my Dark Charms series, I push the viewer to question why we are so reluctant to honor all the events and feeling which influence us.

“Bad Things” is comprised of sterling silver charms imprinted with adjectives the wearer might be, or has been in her life. Guilty. Greedy. Hurt. Lonely. These charms jingle and jangle loudly, calling attention to their message.
